Backstory of the name 'Matey Jae'

My name is Jess and growing up I had a few nicknames and one of those was Jae. My family called me that and I was always fond of it. My very best friends have called me Matey for years. Over the year since 2011, when I discovered my love of baking, I have rotated so many business name variations. Matey Jae is me, just me. That's what I want it known for. I am a single momma of two super groovy kids and I am ready to show them hard work and years of dreaming can come true!
